In Serra da Estrela, more precisely in a valley located between Figueiró da Serra and Linhares da Beira, lives a group of independent people who made a choice in their lives to move away from city confusion, to start a new chapter in tranquility between the mountains of this valley. Most are foreign nationals and aim to find a more sustainable life and in community with their neighborhood. The area perimeter where they are located is difficult to access and there are few opportunities for mobile network communication. In a past, where many generations had passed through this land and now it is practically deserted, it is possible to be a new beginning adapted to a new knowledge of what was before a sanctuary of pastors and lives resistant to the lack of conditions.
